Simple Object Extraction

Take a photograph of several distinct objects on a plain background — e.g. some fruit, coins, or stationery on a white table. Apply the object counter to count and measure each item. Then try changing the background colour and see how it affects the segmentation. Experiment with different kernel sizes in the morphological operations and observe how the results change.
