Tip
If your OCR results have poor accuracy on a printed document, check the image resolution first. Tesseract works best at 300 DPI or higher. If you photograph a document with your phone, make sure the entire page is in frame, the lighting is even, and the image is in focus. A high-quality phone photo in good light will give much better OCR results than a scanner at low DPI.
