Design Thinking Process

Design thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that draws from the designer's toolkit to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology, and the requirements for business success.

The 5 Stages

  • Empathize: Understand your users' needs and experiences
  • Define: Clearly articulate the problem you're solving
  • Ideate: Generate creative solutions through brainstorming
  • Prototype: Create low-fidelity versions of your solutions
  • Test: Validate your solutions with real users

Applying Design Thinking

  • Start with user research and empathy
  • Focus on the problem, not the solution
  • Encourage creative thinking and collaboration
  • Build and test prototypes quickly
  • Iterate based on user feedback
